A poll of state commissioners requested by the
Communications Committee of the National Association of Regulatory Utility
Commissioners (NARUC) for the NARUC leadership and the Communications
Committee. Results indicate levels of commissioner interest in various
issues. 1997 results (100% response) cover four topics: (1) network
evolution, (2) the impact of the Internet, (3) consumer protection
mechanisms, and (4) cost allocations.
